Apparently, I'm just no good at blogging...I can't believe it has been forever since I posted anything.
Well, the good news is, I'M PUMPED!!! Back in early June, I bought a 7 needle Babylock Embellisher. Hadn't even taken it out of the box until just a few days ago, when I attended a Christopher Nejman Seminar at B Sew Inn in Tulsa. What a blast! I learned how to use it, and do alot of other really neat things. It was a 2 day Seminar, Friday and Saturday. If you need motivation, go to one of his seminars! He taught us how to make the most gorgeous pillows, with tons of bling. I totally blew the rest of the months budget buying stuff to use with my Embellisher. Guess everyone will be getting pillows for Christmas!
Oh, and I am going to a 3 day Nancy Zieman Sewing Retreat in early September. I am SEW looking forward to that. I met several ladies who all want to get together and play with our embellishers. I still have lots of cleaning and organizing in my sewing room to do before I can really sit down and do anything but at least I now have some motivation to do so. I'm also saving up for a new Babylock Elegante' Combo Machine. I'll get a pic up soon of me and Christopher just as soon as I can.
