I just can't seem to keep my blog up to date. I've been doing a fair amount of sewing. I finished (totally finished) my very first wallhanging. Will post pics when I'm able. It is Sunbonnet Sue, who I have fallen in love with! I can see so many diferent projects to do with her. I also made and quilted 2 duck themed pillows, using irredesent thread to outline the ducks. I am really pleased with it. These are for my BF Tina. I am planning on also making her a wallhanging.
I'm still having alot of computer problems. I'm running on Linux on the CD drive with no harddrive. Randy shows no interest in fixing the darn thing and it takes both of us to do it. Soooo, who knows how long I will have to work like this.
Got the registration info in the mail today for the Eleanor Burns Retreat. I hope I can afford to go. I feel like I could learn so much from this.

- I started my blog just as a way to document a little bit of my dull and boring life. I have a husband, 3 dogs, 2 cats, a Military Macaw, Meyers Parrot, a turtle, tarantuala, 3 horses, and around a 100 racing pigeons. Oh, and a bunch of chickens and guinea's... a regular zoo, or am I a diary farmer...Can't ever go anywhere! Thank goodness for being an empty nester! I enjoy all kinds of sewing, gardening, reading, but mostly playing on the computer.

You are Temperance
Time. Ages. Transformation. Involuntary change
Temperance is another card of aspiration, but also of much change. It often represents complex situations. Positively, you can harmonize contrary forces.
Temperance is, on a surface level, about "tempering." The original pouring from cup to cup might have been about cutting wine with water. So this is a card about moderation. There is, however, another angle to the card, that of merging seemingly impossible opposites. Sagittarius, the centaur, merges beast and man into a unique creature. And then there is the bow and arrow, one moving, one stationary, working together to point the way. Temperance may be, at first glance, a warning for you to "temper" your behavior, to cut your wine with water. But it may also be a reminder to that seemingly irreconcilable opposites may not be irreconcilable at all. Belief that fiery red and watery blue cannot be merged may be the only thing standing in the way of blending the two. Change the belief, measure out each with care, and you can create otherworldly violet.
