Took the birds down the road again yesterday for a 10 mile toss, when we got thru with PT. By dark, only 24 birds out of 40 were back. I didn't get to count them this morning as, somehow, they had opened the exit door! I gave them all open loft today.
Yesterday when we got back, I couldn't find my house keys...Finally broke the window in the back door and let myself in. Then I helped Randy out of the truck into the house. I found my house keys...he was sitting on them. Now to find someone to replace the door pane. I have a piece of cardboard taped up over it. Today the plumber is supposed to come out and fix the outside leak. I dread what that is going to cost. Last time I had an outside leak it cost me $900. We shall see. Everytime I think I see daylight, it's an oncoming train...
Oh!!! got my 7th egg this morning from my young hens!
Here's a picture of my new Babylock Serenade that DH bought me last May. I love it!
It is so much like my Pfaff 7570 but with more bells and whistles. I love the auto thread scissors and the large 8 5/8 harp. The knee lift doesn't hurt anything either!
