My niece Wendy came for a short visit last week. She got here around 9 PM on Thurs nite, Aug. 11th. I was so thrilled to see her. I haven't seen her since my DD Melodee got married in May of 06. She and her BF left Saturday morning.
On Friday night, Aug. 12th, we went out for Chinese. Randy wasn't feeling well and had been kinda wobbly all day so he stayed home. Last thing I told him before I left was *Stay on the couch and don't get up while I'm gone*. Did he listen??? Hell no. When I got back he said he was trying to shut the den door to keep the cat's out so he could take his parrot out of the cage. Well, we know what happened don't we?! Yes, he fell and hurt himself but he said he just thought that his hip was bruised.
Saturday evening we went to the ER. 11 hours worth, and yes, his hip is broke. :-((( He has to take physical therapy 3 times a week and stay off of it for the next 3 months...
I'm already worn out! Luckily he's been approved for home health care 2 days a week. Maybe he'll listen to me next time!
