I've only gotten 8 blocks made for Randy's quilt. I have decided to just make 12 blocks and use sashing between the blocks to enlarge it. Hoping to sew all day today and hopefully get it finished by tomorrow. Seriously?!
I didn't get to sew yesterday at all. It was our next to the last pigeon race, 300 miles and when we bumped the clock last night I only had 4 birds out of 9 in. This morning, everyone is home but one bird. Hopefully, he'll make it home today. Next week is our last race for the season, from Waco, TX. I'll be so glad when it is over. Training was going really well until Randy fell and broke his hip and then training all but stopped. I haven't done well this season, but it is because I haven't been able to train.
edited to add: I finished his quilt top on Halloween. Have no idea when it will ever get quilted tho! Still don't have my frame set up.
