What a week!

I finally got to do some sewing on Wed and Thurs.  I had to cancel Randy's Dr. Appt's for Wed as the battery was dead in the truck.  Put the charger on it Wed. nite and Thurs. morning it was STILL dead.  The truck has 2 batteries.  Thurs afternoon, I put the charger on the other battery and wouldn't you know, when SIL came over Thurs nite to try to start it, it cranked right up!  The darn thing was trying to make a fool out of me and did a pretty good job!


Friday, I had to take DH to have his CT Scan done in Muskogee and I noticed, there was a wet puddle under the truck in the carport.  Ran all day Friday and finally had a enjoyable dinner at IHOP.  Got up Sat. morning to go to pigeon breakfast, another puddle.  Another puddle at breakfast.  Took it to have the oil changed and it was leaking Diesel fuel something fierce.  They sent me to a car repair place who couldn't even look at until Monday so I just brought it home and parked it.  


Got the guy across the street to look at it and he fixed it.  Something about *O* rings... Thank goodness, it's fixed and didn't cost me an arm and a leg.


Anyhoo....Wed. I made my 2 pink and 2 green BOM's.  And Thurs. I made my last blue BOM block, made a french braid tablerunner (not quilted yet) and a mug rug from the scraps.  I am planning another mug rug from the same scraps.  Friday afternoon I stopped by Quilt Styles and picked up my Dec BOM's.


I had planned to sew all day Sat but the stress of the truck leaking fuel killed that for me.  Maybe today?  We'll see.  House is a wreck and need to finish a little laundry.
