No time

I haven't had any free time to keep up with my blog, I really should just sit down everyday and write a little something about my boring, stressful life!

Let's see if I can remember any highlights.

My beloved husband Randy was in the hospital March 28 - April 7. 7 put of those 11 days were spent in ICU.  I was really afraid I was going to loose him, it was touch and go for several days.  His PCP debated on whether to put him on hospice or therapy, therapy won.  Today will be his last day of physical therapy.  Dr said he thinks he'll see another winter. I hope he's wrong!  I hope it's longer!

We've all known for several years that he will not live to a ripe old age and he has really surprised his Dr's that he's lasted this long.  I'm looking forward to our 26th anniversary on Oct 13th as well as his 68th birthday on Oct. 31st.
My oldest daughter Hunter came for a quicky visit in April.  She was supposes to arrive here on a Friday at noon, but her flight got canceled in Atlanta. ( she lives in Knoxville, TN). So she was stuck in Atlanta airport for 12 long hours on standby, just waiting... Finally got a flight out around 10 pm and arrived here in Tulsa at midnight.  This killed a whole day that she had to spend with us, as she had to fly out Monday afternoon.  She just moved back to Knoxville, after spending 4 years in NM.  Kinda came full circle!  She went to UT Knoxville where she got her degree.  She has been a Television Producer for the past 20 years, living in many states.  Funny how she ended up where it all began!

We didn't get to sew much but she did make a little charm patch skirt for her niece.  She left a row off of it, since Harper is such a tiny little girl.

As soon as I can figure out how to post pictures from my IPad, I'll get some up.

I've also made a couple of charm pack skirts for my DGd Molly.  she loves them and wants more.  I'm going to enter them in Pattern Review's Sewing for Kids contest.

It's been a pretty dull year other wise.  I'm in the process of making a pink and brown 3 rail fence for the girl who does Randy's personal care.  She is due any day now.

If I think of any more exciting news, I'll post.
