We picked up our beloved Boo Boo from the creamatory on Wednesday, October 5th. He was put in to a plastic urn, in a velvet bag. I chose not to get a fancier urn, as my new son in law is a fabulous woodworker. He is making a casket urn for our baby. I talked to DD Hunter yesterday and she said it is going to be just beautiful. Bob even made a prototype out of pine before starting it in the more expensive Walnut that we wanted. I'm so looking forward to seeing it and putting our Boo Boo to rest in it. It's going to be a one-of-a-kind casket for a one-of-a-kind dog.
It's amazing, when I'm really feeling his loss, I walk over to his urn, and pet the velvet bag and talk to him. It is unreal, just how much comfort this brings me. When we recieve the casket, I will post pictures. Boo Boo...I miss you so much.
