after 10 long weeks, my sewing machine insert came in today. This was absolutely ridiculous to have to wait this long for them to cut a small piece of plexiglass. It only took 6 1/2 weeks to get 2 custom built cabinets ordered, built, shipped, delivered and set up. Now, maybe I can get some sewing done.
We went to Cracker Barrel after picking up the insert and had dinner. Got home to find my living room totally trashed...again. Dogs, (probably Annie, our new rescue dog) tore up another pillow from the sofa. Batting is shredded everywhere. She pulled down the bottom lace curtain and bent (ruined) the spring rod. The lace curtain was my mothers old lace tablecloth that made a perfect curtain for the lower half of the living room window. It offered light into the room but gave plenty of privacy. These animals are going to be the death of me yet...
