Yesterday I went to the Embroidery Club at B Sew Inn. The months topic was sorta boring for me (weddings) but when they had the show and tell, I got a few good ideas. June, Sharon and I went to talk to Melanie and she has set a once a month date for a *Sewing B* where we bring our machines and projects and just sew. It is going to be open to anyone so lets hope this takes off. The first one is going to be Monday, August 25th at 10:30 am.
Now...I need to get my machines oiled and ready to use!

I've just about decided to upgrade to the Ellure Plus instead of the Emore, if I can scrape up the money to do it. I have 6 months after I bring the Emore home, so that gives me a little time. I just have too many doubts about having to use 90# bobbin thread. I prefer using prewounds and haven't seen them in 90#. Don't know how much I can negotiate on the price tho.... I think $1899 is just too much for that machine. But alot of things can change in 6 months. I still want the Ellegante, but who knows? I may want the new Ellisimo instead!!! I'm looking forward to seeing it on August 28th. It's got to have ALOT more bells and whistles for me to consider an additional 2-3 thousand dollars. After all the Ellegante is high enough now as it is.



Sharon and I are going to sit together at the Nancy Zieman Retreat next month. I'm glad someone I know is going so I won't be by myself. I hate that I have a hard time going to places where I don't know anyone, as I knock myself out of alot of interesting things. For me, the Nancy Zieman Retreat is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Everything just fell into place, location, cost, and actually having the money to go. Woohoo!
